An industrial aviation turbine manufacturer had recently moved to Phoenix, AZ, and wanted to separate themselves from the stereotypical manufacturing look that was so prevalent within their industry. Their vision was to bring back the concept of art in precision engineering technology. Incorporating a phoenix theme along with a precision metal look and feel, Ron was able to accomplish the design by creating an assortment of preliminary sketches and refinements. The client loved the final solution feeling that it accomplished both their strategic and creative objectives. Nice project!

Pathfinder
Choctaw Country is the brand for the division of tourism for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Produced a seasonal directory highlighting all of the special events and attractions throughout southeastern Oklahoma. The 52 page book was inspired by the new campaign, "Hurry Up and Slow Down" that encourages "Road Trippers" and young families to escape the concrete jungle and explore the natural beauty that awaits them in Oklahoma. Created many of the images using stock photos and Photoshop compositing to design this publication. Co-wrote, co-designed and art directed the book. Also just co-wrote and art directed the new Choctaw Country website. Check it out!

The Mexican flower provided a festive look to accentuate the "Q" iconic element.

LaQuinta Inn
This national hotel chain approached Ron to do a logo exploration in efforts to breath new life into their existing brand. A number of other brand development firms participated in the exercise. Each firm was asked to follow varying strategic strategies in efforts to test the solutions in consumer focus groups.
While these logos were not chosen as the finalist (the brand name was actually shortened), it was a great assignment.

Bell Helicopter
It's not every day that you get to work with some of the coolest helicopters on the planet! When given the assignment to brand the Bell Helicopter fleet, the strategy was to establish a unique image within the industry.
"Fly Smart. Fly Bell." became the voice of the brand. And with the use of some beautiful photography, we were able to complete their story. Like most luxury automobiles, the emphasis on lines and distinct angles captured the spirit of Bell. A complete portfolio of collateral, tradeshow displays, and other promotional elements increased overall annual sales projections for a record year. Materials received much attention (awards), but also were featured in one of the sets from the movie, "Step Brothers" starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

Was given the opportunity to do a branding assignment incorporating interior/exterior signage at all new retail locations. Designed POS, private label seasoning line, and numerous other branding and promotional elements. The six partners wanted to create a whimsical themed line of seasonings that captured the persona of each unique seasoning flavor using their individual personalities. Illustrated a series of caricatures styled accordingly.

Developed the overall brand image and standard for Accudyne Industries. Also created the brand positioning and tagline, "Precision. Performance. Confidence." Designed and developed content for the corporate website, collateral materials, online employee portal, signage solutions, videos, trade show designs and various other brand promotional campaigns.

Denali logo was inspired by the Denali Mountain Peak.

Mountain icon was labeled on all glasses.

Eyemart Express needed a logo and branding for their new sports eyeglasses and sunglass product line. Wanted an aspirational connection with hardcore athletes as well as the typical active outdoors type. Based on the highest mountain peak in North America, the Denali name represented peak performance and success.
To further embrace the brand's message and overall image, Ron created a series of ads using the tagline, "for the extreme & not so extreme" as the brand persona.
The strategy was to gain a larger market share from competitors such as Oakley and Nike by creating an affinity for Denali as the high intensity and extreme condition sunglasses for all outdoor activities.

Fleet Analytix

Developed a campaign effort to better educate companies and organizations that own and operate transportation fleets on how to gain greater fuel cost efficiency. The campaign kicked off with a special FedEx delivered package to corporate executives communicating how to more effectively make decisions regarding compliance and fuel efficiency. Using the old "Rock, Paper, Scissors" analogy to set the stage for a video demo that would be delivered via email blasts, social media, and various other communication channels, the program was designed to enable the client to focus on specific prospects at a manageable pace.

EZGO wanted to create a new parts and accessories catalog to better educate existing owners on all of the available options like tires, racking systems, covers, special headlights, etc. Also created a series of posters for each of the EZGO cart models to highlight these upgrade features. It was a great project and created significant sales increases among those who already owned an EZGO cart.
